Your participation will create a new, safe and secure community for the beautiful families that earn their livelihood from working inside the city dump. For generations, these families have made ‘homes’ from scraps of metal, cardboard, wood and plastic.  Lacking clean water and adequate shelter, mothers and children are at high risk of disease, infection and abuse.  The Pines Project will build safe, secure homes for 24 families within a site plan that includes a community health clinic, pre-school, church, playground, electric service and sustainable clean water source.
